Support for 2D DESIGNER V2007 & V2008 Discontinued

Support for all 2D DESIGNER V2007 and V2008 products will be discontinued as of May 31, 2013. Services affected after that date include:

• Technical support
• License transfers
• License reissue
• Updates or Service Packs

These product are not compatible with new operating systems making them difficult to support. To ease transition to the new version of 2D DESIGNER, we offer customers upgrade allowances to reflect the residual value of their existing PROCAD software.

2D DESIGNER V2014 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of 2D DESIGNER® V2014. In addition to being compatible with AutoCAD 2014 and 2013, the new release has many enhanced features to make the design team more productive and help increase your profits.

Customers on the Subscription Plan receive free upgrade to the new version.

Support for AutoCAD 2013

PROCAD will be supporting AutoCAD 2013 in its next release. Since some of our customers  are moving to this new release, and Autodesk stopped selling AutoCAD 2012, PROCAD will start providing a compatible version for its 2D DESIGNER and 3DSMART starting in April 2013.

The announcement will be sent when the new software is ready for downloading.

PROCAD welcomes Triple S Industrial of Lumberton Texas as a new customer for PapriCAD 2D software. They worked closely with Energis, our US reseller to help them choose a PROCAD software that meets their piping design needs and to increase productivity.

Windows 8 Support

If your company is moving to Windows 8 anytime soon, PROCAD will provide a compatible version of its software products. The new software downloadable will be available starting mid-January. Customers enrolled in the Subscription Plan can access the new software version at no cost.

We made significant enhancements to help make your 3D piping designs more efficient. 3DSMART is still a powerful add-on to your AutoCAD software with an easy-to-use 3D modeler and powerful central database. If you are currently using an earlier version of the software, please contact PROCAD support to assist you in migrating to the new software.
